CATHOLIC APPARITIONS AND MIRACLES

In recent history, apparitions by the Blessed Virgin Mary have been reported in unprecedented numbers, forms, and places. Many of them are for the purpose of mockery, such as the appearance in a grilled cheese sandwich: how well we have taken advantage of that opportunity!
However, there are some apparitions that are neither easy to explain, nor easy to mock. Are these nearly continuous waves of mass hysteria? Are they somehow connected? The fact is that one apparitions (Rwanda) had messages that were terrifying when told, horrifying when they came to pass. The Fatima apparitions predicted a world war, which occurred, and the spreading of the errors of communism, if mankind didn't turn to God. The terrors of this century just past were unprecedented in human history, and we're rapidly heading into worse.
We owe it to ourselves and each other to at least take an intelligent look at some very stunning phenomenon. Why on earth are these things going on?
