Alberta H. Sequeira was born in Pocasset, MA, in 1941. Her father, Albert L. Gramm, was a Brigadier General and she spent her childhood in various towns across the different states traveling with her family.

She is the author of A Healing Heart (2006). PublishAmerica released her first book on November 6, 2006. Her work has appeared in the Medjugorje USA Highlighter Newsletter (Trusting in God’s Will 2007). She is an instructor for Beginning Writer's Workshops.

Her honors include A Healing Heart receiving the “Book of the Week” in October of 2006 by PublishAmerica of Maryland and the “Book of the Month” for April 2007 by Allbooks Review of Canada.

She had been interviewed on the WBSM Radio Station in Fairhaven, MA and with Tony Lewis of The Standard Times newspaper of New Bedford, MA.

Her book has appeared in the South Coast, Bristol County and South Shore Women’s Journal, The Wareham Observer and Lakeville Call. It has been advertised in the Summer 2007 June issue of The Spirit of Change and had appeared in the July 12, 2007 issue of the Providence Visitor and will be in the November issue. it was also in The Catholic Weekly in Australia.

She lives and writes in Rochester, MA with her husband Al.
